Everything about working with KUDO has been a joy for me. From my very first experience working with the team to the new KUDO Marketplace, KUDO is definitely a company and platform that has interpreters in mind.

What is KUDO Marketplace? Well, it’s a very convenient portal for both interpreters and clients looking to book interpreters for their next events. Interpreters can indicate their availability on the calendar for weeks in advance, add their subjects of expertise, and include their profile. This helps clients find the best-suited interpreters who are available during their desired times. Once the client files a request for a multilingual online meeting, interpreters whose language combinations match that of the offer receive a text message and an email prompt. Usually, the interpreter has 24 hours to confirm her availability, and she is also free to accept or decline the offer. Once the request is accepted, interpreters are provided documents and preparation materials from the client. All information, including the meeting link, is accessible from one single window. Upon completion of an assignment, interpreters are shown their total earnings and are able to request a withdrawal of funds to be received within a few days.

The interpreter journey on KUDO Marketplace is truly smooth and simple. It truly reduces the stress and hassle on the side of the interpreter. To be eligible for work on KUDO Marketplace one has to become a KUDO Pro interpreter.  Again, the journey is very exciting, and KUDO will work with the interpreters in helping them meet the stringent eligibility requirements. KUDO Pro status is a clear indication that you are familiar with the platform and have clocked a minimum number of hours interpreting remotely on KUDO. Finally, it tells the world that you are a trusted interpreter backed by KUDO. This can only help boost your reputation and career.

Despite the pandemic slowly coming to a close, remote interpreting is here to stay. So I am here to encourage the interpreters out there to join the KUDO family and provide interpretation via a truly interpreter-centric platform. The journey starts here.
