On Tuesday, October 6, 2020, KUDO won “The Future of Work” category at South Summit Madrid and now moves on with eight other innovative startups to the final round of competition on Thursday. If you haven’t ever heard of South Summit, you should. Originally founded in 2012 by Spain Startup and IE Business School, South Summit is a global innovation platform focused on discovering business opportunities and disruptive trends that brings together the leaders of the world’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Every year South Summit Madrid hosts a start-up competition in which they hand-pick 100 of the world’s most innovative startups from a field of thousands .. After careful evaluation and consideration, the most promising teams are invited to pitch their ideas in a series of nine categories. The most innovative startups in each category are given the opportunity to share their project in front of a jury of investors and business leaders who choose one winner per category.

Traditionally an onsite event, this year’s South Summit was redesigned as a live television event taking place online.

KUDO was selected as one of the 12 finalists and the eventual winner of the “TheFuture of Work” category. . During the competition, startups are judged on innovation, scalability, team, viability and investibility.

CEO and Co-Founder of KUDO, Fardad Zabetian, provided an innovative and exciting pitch before the live and online jury and then answered probing questions from the panel.

Together with the winners of the other eight categories, KUDO now moves on to the finals on Thursday, October 8 to compete for one of the grand prizes.
