KUDO’s AI-powered Speech Translator becomes generally available – and free to test

(Monday, 1 May 2023. New York City, NY) – KUDO, the world leader in real-time multilingual solutions, has made its new AI-powered Speech Translator, KUDO AI (patent pending), available to the public and open to be tested in a free trial.

KUDO AI is an AI-powered speech-to-speech translator that integrates state-of-the-art Natural Language Processing systems – such as speech recognition and synthesis – with KUDO’s innovative language models trained to support the real-time, continuous translation of spoken language. Organizations can now make their communication available in multiple languages with one click, with the most popular use cases so far being sales trainings, learning and development programs, and All Hands meetings.

“We’re really excited to take KUDO AI live to the public” said CEO Fardad Zabetian. “With all our solutions, we seek to address our clients’ need for increased growth, productivity, and inclusion. KUDO AI makes that mission possible on a truly global scale. We have had fantastic feedback from the early adopters who have experienced KUDO AI since January, and our Tech Team has been busy adding languages and features to make the solution even more advanced and user-friendly in that time.”

Currently, KUDO AI is available in 6 source languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Italian) and 25+ output languages, for a total of over 130 language combinations. This includes also regional dialects, such as Canadian French or Brazilian Portuguese, as well as languages that leverage a different alphabet, such as Japanese, Chinese, and Greek. And these languages are just the start.

“From an innovation perspective, we have big ambitions for KUDO AI” said KUDO’s CTO and leading machine translation expert, Claudio Fantinuoli. “But focusing on technology alone isn’t enough; the quality of translation output is contingent on a deep understanding of language itself, and that’s where KUDO is in a unique position. As we speak, our team is experimenting with different systems and components to ensure we are not just expanding our offering to the most languages possible, but are also producing the highest quality translation as we move through different alphabets.”

Registration for a free trial is available on the KUDO website, with no credit card required at this stage. Once they have created an account, users will be able to start using the solution immediately. The free trial offers the possibility to test AI-powered translation for up to ten meetings, over a period of 30 days, on KUDO’s own platform. After the end of the trial, they can then upgrade to a paid subscription plan to experience the full suite of KUDO features, such as access to premium support for setting up and running meetings, the ability to record meetings in the preferred language(s) selected, and the possibility of upgrading to one of KUDO’s professional human interpretation packages.

With the public launch of KUDO AI and its free trial, KUDO is continuing its mission of making global communication easier and more efficient than ever before.
