KUDO Introduces Enhanced Parliamentary Voting Solution for its Online Multilingual Meetings Platform

Friday, 30 October, 2020

New York City, NY – KUDO Inc., the leading Language-as-a-Service platform for online meetings, has just added an enhanced voting and polling solution to its signature cloud-based technology.

The robust solution supports different forms of voting such as parliamentary (yes / no / abstain), and multiple choice, allowing meeting organizers to securely conduct votes and elections in fully virtual or hybrid meeting environments ensuring the vote’s integrity while preventing a participant from voting multiple times or on behalf of other participants.

With this new release, the KUDO platform provides complete administrative capabilities for meeting organizers, from securing meeting access with a 5-digit PIN code and Single Sign-On (SSO) and restricting voting control to specific roles, to assigning voting rights to a specific group of participants for a given poll. Only aggregated vote  results are shared to the participants, while a name list view for nominative polls is visible only to administrative roles.

The enhanced voting solution is available on the web-based version of KUDO and the latest iOS v7.1 and Android v6.1 mobile applications. Consequently, new, and enhanced results are securely stored in the North American or European servers, to meet all the privacy standards and ensure GDPR compliance.

”This is a step forward towards transparency for elected officials, as well as increased engagement for participants” says Fardad Zabetian, CEO and co-founder of KUDO. “We are confident our enhanced solution will be a definitive component of our client’s multilingual meetings.”

The solution created to meet the more specific voting and polling needs of larger intergovernmental organizations and parliaments, is available to clients and organizations that have a KUDO subscription on the SaaS and PaaS models of the platform.

The new additional features are designed based on the growing demands within the existing KUDO enterprise clients and their direct contributions as they have been transitioning their meetings to online and hybrid forms due to the pandemic.

With the addition of this new feature, KUDO continues its ongoing commitment to developing  and updating its state-of-the-art meeting platform to help its clients overcome  language and geographic barriers with an innovative mix of human expertise and technology.
